The rights to the Fever Series by Karen Marie Moning have been acquired by Dreamworks!!
Apparently, they are hoping to develop it into a live action film series. Read the article from Variety.
Personally, I was hoping it would be developed it as a live action TELEVISION series. It has all the marks of a good long running show. It has drawn out, potential series long story arcs, shorter subplots, and the potential for a freak-of-the-week type storytelling similar to that of Buffy or Supernatural.
But, either way, I'm happy because we will get to see Barrons and Mac on the screen!!

Yeah, I wish it was a TV series as well. They could totally milk that one for several years. I mean, no one can get enough of Barrons. It could've been even better than True Blood.
